I installed my TF for the first time for a young child, car is a 2008 Toyota Corolla. She is 6 months, about 16 lbs. Please tell me if this recline is ok. This is a totally flat parking spot. The line looks totally parallel with the ground, my hand was not straight, lol.

I also took a picture of the space between the carseat and the front seat. In my car the seat can't touch the seatback because of the airbags, is this enough space?

Thanks!

It looks good to me. Just make sure you secure the tether to the back of your child seat so it doesn't have a chance to come up and hit your LO on the head in the event of a crash.

No touching means just that, no touching. Think about that annoying little game that kids play when they are like five years old. "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you." There's no minimum distance needed as long as the seats aren't touching.

The angle looks good.

The angle is fine. You could even possibly do away with the pool noodle if she fusses and wants more upright.

Looks good! It's a pretty seat, too.

It's clipped, thanks! I had to loosen the tether a tiny bit so that it wasn't touching the back of the front seat, but it is only loosened about an inch. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm so excited to use it tomorrow, I hope the recline is ok. I will see how she does tomorrow and adjust if needed.

The recline was great. She loved the flowers on the seat and didn't whine/cry at all. She slept on our way to the park, then was up and babbling to me on the drive home. It was so nice not to have to deal with the seatbelt over her legs and installing/taking out the seat every time we park. I'm so glad I did this, plus it only took about 5 minutes so I would gladly do this next time I'm watching her rather than use the infant seat.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to ask her mom if I can post the pictures I took of her when we parked, she was in a great mood and gave me some really nice smiles.
