The requirements for CPS Guru do change from time to time depending on posting and reputation patterns. CPS Gurus get many of the same benefits as subscribers at the Benefactor level. Like subscribers at the Home Business Sponsor and Sponsor level, they also get the ability to change their user title that appears under their username.
As of today, the requirements are 2500 reputation points, 5 years registered and 5000 posts. The days registered requirement was increased, though this will not affect any of those handful of members currently approaching the milestone!
Also, effective January 1st, CPS Gurus and Subscribers at the supporter level will see one top advertising placement (still fewer than the SCM usergroup).
