    Considering booster training.

Hi. :) I haven't been here in a while, but I've been going back and forth on this one and I figured this would be the best place to get some insight. Bram has multiple SNs including a form of dwarfism. He'll be 8 next month and just makes the weight and height minimums on the Turbo. I'm...

Looking for a Radian angle adjuster in the Fort Knox area

Or advice on where we might find one at a brick and mortar store. I know its a long shot but a friend of mine didn't realize she'd need one... And she really needs it like, today. :o TIA!

Question Because I don't have much FF experience first hand...

Bram is going to be riding the bus home from school starting Monday so I need to figure out what seat to get. He'll most likely be FF but he gets pretty tired at the end of the day and has been falling asleep on the ride home quite a bit. What is a good seat that will allow him to fall asleep...

    Another Radian issue.

It might just be a fluke, but watch out for the latch on the RF boot... Mine came loose. I wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't fallen right off when I was transferring Bram's seat from my roommates vehicle to mine. All I had to do was screw it back together, but if I hadn't moved the seat, that...

She thought they were in the trunk... LOL

    Halp, my tether is stuck.

Okay, well my sister's tether, actually. Seat is a Radian, vehicle is a Kia Sportage. The tether anchors are WEIRD and (as we just discovered), its damn near impossible to get a tether hook off of it. Its different than most anchors I've seen. Its basically a flat metal square with a square...

    Contours Options Tandem?

My sister is looking at this stroller on BabyBoutiqueOutlet. Is is a decent stroller? It will mostly be used in the mall and places like that. These are the two she's looking at. Is there a difference between the original and the II other than colors...

    Bartlett MyRide for trade

Expires December 2016. No harness pads or infant insert. They are in storage 670 miles away. :( Well taken care of and never been crashed, etc. This is my nephew's seat but we really need something that will work in a 3 across. Cover is in the wash but I'll get pics once its clean and dry...

Best way to transport a kitty?

(Wasn't sure where to put this, sorry.) We're taking a 10+ hour trip next week and my kitty is coming along. I know about the harnesses but all the seats in the vehicle will be filled (its a 7-passenger van, but the 3rd row bench is being left behind to fit our luggage). So that leaves a pet...

    Hybrid? Diesel?

I'm asking here because most of you know a lot more about cars than the people I know IRL. :p So yeah, I know I just bought a van like... less than a year ago, but my circumstances have changed and we'll be living a much larger city soon. I'm thinking downsizing would be a really good idea...

3-across in a Kia Sportage possible?

My sister M is moving to KY to live with our sister L. L already currently has another roommate (K) while both of their husbands are deployed. L's vehicle is a 2008 Kia Sportage. The kids are 3.5yo, 12m, and 11mo. 3yo is currently RF but will probably need to go FF in this vehicle because...

    So all you stroller collectors...

Help me out. I know nothing of good strollers. What are some strollers good for urban living? Something that won't be a pain to drag down stairs or occasionally onto a bus? Bram is 5.5 but teeny and can't walk very well yet so a really good stroller will be a must. Storage underneath would...

    DS hates FF. Hahaha.

So I let Bram FF for like 20 minutes last night to look at Christmas lights. I didn't feel like flipping the Radian (more time consuming with the safe stop and all) so I put the True Fit in FF. Twenty minutes later he's pointing at his AFO braces and screaming "That? That? OFF??" Apparently...

Question Is the buckle flipping trick allowed with the Coccoro?

I've heard of some people flipping the crotch buckle on their seat to keep a younger child from unbuckling. Is this possible/allowed with the Coccoro? The child is 10 months old so I don't think simple discipline will work in this situation. ;)

    Um. What.

I start playing with the Nauti on display at Walmart (was bored and just killing time) and I tug on the harness adjuster and its "stuck". I was like  and then I realized what was wrong. The ends of the harness were looped through the booster belt guides...

    Question Coccoro lock off?

My sister just got her Coccoro yesterday. For now, its going in her DH's '08 Lancer, center. I read the entire manual online and we're a bit confused about the lock-off... In the rear-facing section, it doesn't even mention the lock-off and says that if the shoulder belt isn't long...

So... what do you do about an escape artist?

My nephew has discovered how to unbuckle his chest clip and pull his arms out. We've been working on this for a few weeks now but no amount of pulling over, going straight home with no "x" is making a difference. He's with our mom right now and she just messaged me a bit earlier and...

Think I just discovered a MR installation trick

This may already be commonplace, but I just figured it out myself... LOL I was installing my nephew's MR (in the 2nd row of my Caravan where his mom can see him better because the booger keeps trying to escape). Normally, I pull the cover up to pull the belt/LATCH through the belt path and get...

Tell me about the Crown Vic? (probably '95-'00)

My sister is buying an older used car. She's thinking about a Crown Victoria, probably mid '90s because her budget is around $2300. I've checked safety ratings and they look pretty good. I know the '97 and newer should have locking seatbelts, but what about older models? Oh, and her DS is...

Top tethers in the '03 Caravan

Sorry, yet another question about my van... :o Okay, so everyone has told me that the '03 has only one top tether (in the center of the 3rd row) but when I was messing around with my 2nd row bench today, I saw this: So I look it up in my manual again and it says... However, my manual also...
