I was writing a post, I pasted in two amazon links. Usually each one would be automatically encoded and embedded separately. Instead, the script tried to encode by starting at the first url and ending after the second url. I had to go in and manually encode the urls instead (with my own opening and closing brackets typed in.) Which worked, but I thought I'd give a heads-up that the script was doing funny things, since I've written posts with multiple links in the same manner previous to the updates, and not had that happen.
