Thoughts on the Graco Affix Turbobooster LX

We are planning to transition my son from a 5-point harness to a booster in September when he turns 6. Since I know that's coming, I was considering taking advantage of the BabiesRUs trade-in to pick up a highback booster (we have an expired Marathon we can trade in) and saw the new Graco Affix Turbobooster LX, which would be $67 after the coupon. It seems like it incorporates some of the features of the more expensive boosters (LATCH, deep sidewings and headrests). Any thoughts on this versus any other booster?

If it matters, our car is a 2010 Honda Odyssey and my son is currently 44" tall and a little under 40 lbs.

It's a great booster belt fit for smaller and younger kids, and it's easy to use. Your son is not very tall, so you would get quite a bit of use out of the high back portion, then it'd be usable as a backless for many more years.

I love the Affix. My 43 in 38 lb son fits beautifully in it. FYI, BRU will also honor a BBB coupon so you can take another 20% off.

I just got two Affix boosters for my 5 1/2 year olds. We moved from harness to booster and I'm loving it so much!

They are about 40 lbs each and I originally was going to harness them for as long as a I physically could (our car seats go to 65 lbs.) but I'm so glad we switched.

P.S. The purple one is $50 on amazon.
