Signature Help

I'm losing it, and part of the reason is probably cause I'm tired...and yeah, I am the mother of 4! hahaha

For the life of me, I can not remember how to add more than 1 picture in the signature. I deleted my picture because I was going to update it but now I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help an old lady!

I, too, drove myself crazy with this one. What finally worked was inserting the pictures and not using the signiture picture option. I inserted them using the little button with the mountain on it and then played with them untill I got where I liked them. There is probably an easier way but... I don't know it yet.

When I try that, it says my signature is too long. My husband is going to try and put all 3 pictures together and save it as 1 jpg.

They are all separate. I have them saved in a photobucket account, and after the text part of my signature I just copied and pasted the photobucket IMG code into the signature box.

I had trouble at BabyCenter, though. It kept saying my signature was too long, so I had to combine those three pics into one and upload that to photobucket.

Ok, interesting. I was trying to use the url code; and plugging it into the 'insert image'; even with only 2 pictures it was saying it was too long. Maybe the IMG code is shorter. I may try and mess with it some other time.

AND BABYCENTER; I've never been able to get any picture to work there! (except the icon pic of me). Anytime I mess with my signature at all it says that it's too long. People have told me to use tiny url but I haven't been able to figure that out. Someone did make my "my toddler is rearfacing" and the link to the CPSafety rear facing page through tiny url, so I figure that one is an important one to have in the signature. Especially for when I post on my birth board.

BC is stupid like that lol. To use tinyurl, you have to put this around the tiny url address.

<IMG alt="" src="tinyurlhere">

Do that in the html mode, and then switch back to regular mode and it should pop up. I can help you over there if you want.. I need to redo my sig anyways (I'm not totally in love with my new one lol) so could do yours in the process.

ETA: ok, so I guess the code won't show up here. Well, just post to me on CST and I'll help you if you want.

Hehe, yeah, I wasted probably two hours the other night trying to fix my BabyCenter signature, and finally got it working. I had to put my image in my main photobucket album, not a sub-album because that would add more characters to the code, and I had to shorten my words up quite a bit.

I was able to put 3 pictures in my siggie here but no writing because then it was too long :( I haven't been able to figure out how to lessen the writing/address of the piture.

So to add a piture I right click on picture, click on properties and then copy the URL address. Is there another way to do this?

That's the way I do it--but it helps to have the picture saved with as small of file name as possible, each character counts towards size. For example, I had my pics saved in my photobucket album in a sub-album, so it had a longer file name than another picture saved in my main album, because the file name specifys which album. I shortened my picture names to a single number and moved them to my main album and it shortened the total signature length enough that I could include words.
