I read in another post that someone's seat protectors were too thick and not safe? I have the Prince Lionheart ones, are they okay?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I didn't know car seat liners were a problem. I have Eddie Bauer ones? Are they ok?
They can throw it against the wall and call it "crash tested". it's a marketing gimmick. Because there are no federal guidelines for aftermarket products, saying something is crash tested means absolutely nothing.
Seat protectors are NOT allowed. Only a thin towel is allowed.
The CPS manual states, "In order to protect vehicle seats, a piece of thin rubber or fabric, an unfolded towel, or shelf liner may be used under the child seat"
You must read your carseat and vehicle owner’s manual and understand any relevant state laws. These are the rules you must follow to restrain your children safely.
