Scenera $19.99 at Sears (in store)

I was at my local Sears today and they had the Scenera 35 clearanced to $19.99. Almost grabbed the two I had, but it was a mad house and DD was getting cranky for lunch. I'm hoping if I go back they'll still have them! I like to keep them on hand to give out to people.

yikes! Guess I'm headed there tomorrow ;) They would be perfect for the fitting station when we have a child arrive in an unsafe seat.

Jodi, we'll be there today. I can grab them if they're still there so you don't have to make a special trip. You know how J loves the mall!

I never think of car seats at sears. I am always scouting for good deals for people I know. Thanks for the tip!

I went yesterday and found 3 at the Southcenter Sears, but they were all cotton candy pink and had DOM of 2008. Not such a great deal.

Last I checked, that's all they had at my Sears (Clackamas, OR). If they're marked down to $20, it's an improvement, at least. I've looked at those same old, half-expired pink Sceneras for the last year at full price.

If I needed one for someone in a pinch, I'd still buy one for $20. Half price, half its useful life gone... but I don't know anybody currently that desperate for a free/cheap car seat.

Right, I'm not that desperate. I mean, I'd like a 2nd seat for back up, but I currently have a seat that is just fine in the car. If I really need it, I can pull it out. Also, I could just get a seat for $35 at Walmart.
