We have a 2007 Acura TL and are having trouble getting car seats that fit well for our one year old twins, who now need to graduate from their infant car seats (both about 22 pounds). We bought the Sunshine Radian 80SL car seat but to have them in rear facing, we can't get one behind the driver's seat as is. We'd prefer to have the car seats on either side of the car (rather than in the middle and on passenger side) for ease of loading. We found this "angle adjuster" online which would help it fit behind the driver's seat, but I am concerned about whether or not this would compromise any of the safety of the seat if in an impact.
