Question RF convertible car seats for twins in a Honda Fit 08 or Santa Fe Hyundai?

I need to upgrade from infant seats (Chicco) to a convertible car seat for my twins. They are just 6 months but very long for their age. They need to stay rear facing for some time. My husband and I are tall, 5'9" and 6'5". We have one seat in the middle and the other behind the passenger in both a Honda Fit and a Santa Fe Hyundai. It's a tight fit for all of us already. I am looking at the Radian, Britax or First years and we would like both seats to fit side-by-side if possible so my husband can continue to drive! Does anyone have suggestions on what seats would work best for us?

If your babies have head control I'd do two Diono Radians with angle adjusters. Those should fit next to one another and give both front seat passengers plenty of room. I know for sure the front seat can go all the way back in the Fit with a Radian with angle adjuster behind it.

How heavy are the babies?

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for your response! I've been looking at the Radians more than the others, just have been worried about the fit in the two cars, especially the Honda Fit. Both babies have great head control. Our girl is 14lbs/26" and our boy is 19lbs/28".
Do you have to purchase the angle adjustor separate from the seats?
