RF CCO and MR in 2007 Toyota Corolla (pics)

Pictures of what I was able to make work and a few questions.

CCO RF behind driver with driver's seat forward 1 or 2 clicks, which is all we can make work for the 6'4" driver. CCO is installed with recline reference line slightly more upright than horizontal. Not ideal. Not sure I'd even consider this "not touching" for the advanced airbags. MR is installed behind passenger as upright as possible with level indicator still in green. Had to push front seat forward a little, but still usable (for me, 5'4").

Another picture of how that looks.

Same as before, now with MR installed as reclined as possible with level indicator still in green. Had to push front seat forward a lot more.

Used a pool noodle to help recline. Does it matter how much of the bottom of the seat is in contact with the vehicle seat? I couldn't find anything thumbing through the manual quickly.

This is how much space I have left in the front seat. It's possible, but it's not fantastic.

This is how much space is between them. I didn't try to fit. The leg room is generally not great so it's not my favorite backseat to ride in.

Installed CCO RF on passenger's side. Able to move front passenger seat all the way back without touching.

Attempted to install CCO RF in middle. Limited to seatbelt for this install. I thought I had it within 1" of movement, but it was more upright than the horizontal line, and when I installed with a pool noodle I could no longer get it tight enough, so I'm doubting how I checked my 1st installation. I used Combi's rear-facing belt lock-off. Is this how it looks for everyone else when you use it? I'm also a little confused by the instructions in the manual. If I have a sliding latchplate, do I have to use the rear-facing belt lock-off even if I have a switchable retractor? Also, if I have a long enough seatbelt to route the shoulder belt around the back of the seat, do I have to do that, or can I let it be against the vehicle seat back? (I'm looking at page 28 in the manual. The belt lock-off stuff was on page 58 and 60.)

Not sure I'd even consider this "not touching" for the advanced airbags.

It can touch the driver's seat. The driver's seat has distance sensors, but no weight sensors to screw up (it assumes an adult will be sitting there).

If the install is tight, I don't worry about a gap under the seat.

You can do the seatbelt across the backseat, no Euro routing. You can either lock the belt or use the lockoff (either the blue on the back of the seat, or the separate one).
