Recommend a Deep booster please:)

Friend's son was 5 in January and is tall. Getting stats but probably 4' or more. Average weight. Right now is in Frontier 85 as a booster but legs are hanging over the edge. Wants to move to NBB but if there is a deep HBB that might work.

Thanks for the help...my booster knowledge is minimal.

Outboard in a one or two year old Subaru Forester if that matters.

Kiddy CruiserFix Pro has an extendable leg support but is pricey. The Monterey is pretty deep too.

My long legged kid prefers the Monterey to any of the other boosters that he uses.

The Graco Connext is INSANELY deep...

The Frontier is already insanely deep. When their legs start hanging down too heavily, you just need to find them a foot stool (something light that won't be a dangerous projectile). This has been true for my kids in all boosters once they hit about 50 inches, I have a collection of light step stools, lol. 5.5 would be too young for a full time backless, in my own experience (barely leaning over and the shoulderbelt is off the side), though the Cruz or Connext would be good choices in a year or so longer.
If they have another reason for wanting another seat, like handing down the Frontier, or thinking the Frontier seems too bulky or hard to buckle (really, as a booster, with a kid younger than 7, it's a pain) , then the Monterey or CruiserFix might well be a better choice for them.

Thanks. I have passed on the recommendations. Child is 55lbs and over 4 ft. They are going to try to keeping using the FR a bit longer.
