I got confirmation from Russ today that Rio and Hampton are both SuperCool air mesh.

Can you remove the cover on the current radian 65 to wash it?

You can. Absolutely. Now the first few times you do it it's sort of a pain, but after that it gets easier

Gosh. January. I've been hanging out for the XT in November. Need more time to save the $$, actually, but it means that DD1 will be in the backless Safeguard seat until we get the XT. We really want the side wings so I guess a 65 or an 80 is out.

According to Russ, the XT will be available on Jan 1, 2009. It's not instock anywhere ATM.

I hate the price, lol, but Evan has seen the red one online enough that he'd be devestated if he didn't get it. I just showed him that last pic and he started clapping his hands and saying 'mine'. I have to have a Radian one way or another to fit in the 3rd row, I just hope I can afford it before baby comes! If not, we'll have to get a 65 and maybe pass it down to the baby later and then get Evan the XT. I wouldn't worry so much but he'll be in the back corner of the van right next to the window.
