Prospect Booster Help

Hello. I am having some trouble with the parents of the children I take care of. I had a talk with the mom a couple of days ago because three of their four car seats are expired. They have already boostered the four year old and refuse to go and buy a harness for him. So one of his seats has expired and I talked to her about at least getting a high back booster for him. Today, I go to pick up the kids and I find the Prospect booster being used as a backless booster for the four year old. Can the prospect be used as a backless booster? She doesn't have the manual. Plus, the seat is expired. So, I am trying to figure out if anyone knows whether the prospect can be used as a backless so I can politely inform her about that danger as well. Thanks!

You sure it's expired? The pictorial has the Prospect first being made in 2006. So at worst it'd have another 1.5 years on it.

Yes, it can be a backless booster.

Thanks. That is very good to know. I was pretty sure that I was looking at the manufacturing date which said 2004 but I will check again tomorrow to make sure. Thanks.
