We need a seat for a 3 across in a lincoln towncar 05 (large back seat). Right now we have a 4yo (41", 41lb) in a frontier 85, almost 3yo, (25lb, 34.5") in a roundabout 55, and a 13 mo (18lb, 29inch very tiny guy) in a chicco keyfit. Baby will outgrow the chicco in the next 2-3 months and will need a new seat or a sibling will need a new seat.
Grandparents have a roundabout 55 and a pioneer 70 so we could take one of those and get them a new seat (they have to have 2 seats). I tried a frontier 85, pioneer 70, and rf roundabout and I got all the seats to fit with each having a tight independent install but it was so incredibly tight I am worried if it is safe. And think maybe the pioneer should just stay with grandparents and we get a new narrower/better puzzler seat.
The licoln's seats are very deep/reclined on the passenger sides and the middle has a slight hump. I'd like to keep the new seat under $300 and the seats will not be removed often hopefully.
Any recommendations?
