MEC Yeti jacket?

Does anyone know if it's thin enough to use in a car seat? If not, what else would you recommend from their site for a 4yo?

My two big kids wore them last winter. On really cold days, they were the top layer of 4. T-shirt, long sleeved shirt, hoody, and then fleece jacket. Of course they have parkas for playing outside, etc.

We love our Yetis here. My kids all have them.

You all rock, ya know that? I had totally figured out the baby's winter attire but of course the fact that the 3.5 year old needs another carseat-safe coat completely slipped my mind.

Any idea if they fit big or true to size?

They're pretty true to size, yet roomy enough to layer under. I usually get two years out of mine if I get a size larger. This will be the second year my now 3 year old is wearing a size 4 (but she's huge), and my 5.5 year old is in a 6 (she's tall also). I just bought my nephew turning 5 a size 6 and he'll get this winter and maybe the next.

:yeahthat: my 6 year old has a size 6 that she wore last winter and she still has room to grow. My 4 1/2 year old has a size 5, and she has plenty of room left.
