Do you have a new leader now? (I admit I haven't really been paying attention.) Perhaps it is time to shame them with the fact that they are so far behind the times that even Manitoba is ahead of them! (No offense Manitoba, just thinking that a competition may light a fire under their butts!)

For those of us in provinces without a law....who is it that we harass about it? Excuse my political ignorance....but what level of Government is best to start writing letters to?

Sweet. I'm sick of hearing my mom friends say "... because you know there's no booster law..." Hopefully by the time my oldest (now 3) older it'll be common practice to keep kids in booster until they actually fit the seat belt!

No person shall operate, or permit the operation of, a motor vehicle on a highway unless every passenger in the vehicle who has not yet attained the age of eight years is properly secured in a booster seat of a kind prescribed in the regulations. As an exception, the child is not required to be secured in that manner if he or she is at least 145 cm in height or 36 kg in weight

So in other words it is 8 or 80 lbs, or 4'9". Way better than 5 or 50 lbs!
