LATCH belt replacement

So, after much thought, I've decided to buy my 5yo a nautilus. The only negative (I think) is that it has those awful old-school LATCH hooks. Would it be okay to buy a replacement LATCH belt with those release-style hooks (like, from Radian) that release by just pushing a seat-belt type release? Just not sure if there's any reason why the LATCH belt is car seat specific.

Thanks!

It's seat specific and you would need to use the strap that came with the Nautilus, or install it with the vehicle seatbelt if you don't find the lower LATCH connectors to your liking or if your child happens to be above the lower LATCH installation weight limit for your vehicle or for the Nautilus, whichever is lower. The Nautilus has a 48 lb. child weight limit for lower LATCH anchor installations and your vehicle's limit would depend on your vehicle's manufacturer.

To be honest, the Nautilus is such an easy install with seatbelt in most cars, if you don't like the clippy LATCH hooks, I'd just use seatbelt instead. :)

In fact, when I bought the Nautilus (entirely used to the alligator clips because I owned all Britax at that point), I found it insanely easy to install. Those 'old-fashioned' clips are really easy to use on that seat :D

I have to agree with this. The latches are ugly, but they work well.
