Kia Soul vs Mazda 5

I didn't think anyone would put the Soul and "sporty" in the same sentence unless you added a "not" in front. That said, I LOOOOOVVVEEE the Soul. I see the 5 as sportier and more practical, which normally is what I look for. But the Soul is just so funky and fun. And cheap!

Sorry for the bad choice of words. I did not in any way mean the Soul is a sports car! I have owned sports cars and truly know the difference. I meant it LOOKS sporty and young, like you can throw your bike or kayak on for the weekend. For a fun, low cost, car it does have a lot to recommend it.

We have a Mazda5. Pros: two captain's chairs to install carseats in, sliding doors!, easy to maneuver and park. Cons: some carseats (such as our EFTA) don't fit well in captain's chairs (the knob to adjust the harness is JAMMED into the seat back), mileage is worse than a decent sedan.
