Question Is there a less bulky seat?

My daughter will be 5 next month. She is 44 lbs and 46 inches tall and harnessed in a britax frontier. I love her being in the seat but I have to move the seat 3-4 times a week to different cars and it is hugely bulky. Is there a seat that we can move easier and isnt as bulky? I have seriously been thinking of leaving the frontier in my vehicle and getting a hbb for the sitters car and my husband's car so I dont have to move the seat anymore, unless there is a seat that wont break the bank that I can use....

Have you considered the Harmony Defender? 18.5" top slots, high back booster, backless booster, 10 year lifespan, $99? It requires no overhang, that'd be the only worry with multiple cars.

If she's mature enough to sit properly and keep the seatbelt in place at all times, I would use a highback booster in the secondary vehicles. That would be a call you would have to make. Otherwise, I would check out the Defender.

She has the frontier and she is headed toward the top slot in that would she fit in the defender with it being only 18.5 " top slots???
