Infant Car seat for Twins

I am having twins and already have two other children. Crazy, I know! I am looking to purchase new car seats for the infants and would like something that is easy to use, not to heavy, starts at 4lbs, and that I can get in two different colours to keep the twins in their own seats. Does anyone have suggestions?

In Canada we only have the Keyfit 22, and it doesn't come in quite as many colors, but there are still a few. Just make sure you purchase from a Canadian retailer, as US seats are not legal in Canada.

I used the Chicco Keyfit 30 for my twins when they were infants (they are now 2) and LOVED them. I am using one of them now for my 5 month old. It VERY easy to use. My kids outgrew it by height before they outgrew it by weight; I could have used the Keyfit that goes to 22 lbs as well, at least for the bigger twin.

Teach who checked my seats once said they were about as "stupid-proof" a seat as there was. People can still install it incorrectly, but they have to work harder at it than with other seats.

The Chicco is compatible with the newest version of Snap N Go (if sold in Canada)... made my life SO MUCH easier than a bulky stroller.

Congrats!!!

The Chicco KeyFit is my top pick for twins. They allow for use from 4 pounds, fit tiny babies well, are lightweight, tend to install easily just about anywhere, and you can get them in differing colours if you wish.

In Canada we have Adventure (green/tan), Race (red/tan), Miro (yellow/black/white) and Romantic (black/grey) as stand alone patterned seats -- meaning not sold as a car seat/stroller combo.

Please note we do not have the Chicco KeyFit 30 in Canada. If you happen to see any Canadian retailers advertising the 30 you know it's a copy/paste description from an American site. Canadian KeyFits allow for use up to 22 pounds only.

Hope that helps,
