You generally won't need more than three, but no, there's no limit. I used five briefly for Laine's True Fit at birth. As she got bigger I removed them when I could.

I've never heard anything official on the subject, but 3 comes up a lot. Really, you can do almost anything with 3 noodles if you're being smart with where/how you are pushing.
I think I have used 4 once or twice, in super scooped seats for newborn angle.

Thanks! I'm having a discussion with 2 fellow techs here at work and they were both adamit about the 3 noodle limit. I told them to wait a minute and I would ask the experts. Lol. Thank you for prooving me right. :)

As a newbie tech, I thought 3 was the max, until Kecia corrected me. :D I have yet to need more than 3, but at least I know that I *can* use more than 3 if necessary!

Ok, so does anyone have a link to anything official about no limit to pool noodles. I'd love to bring it up in our tech meeting this month at work but would like to have something other than "cause Wendy said so" to back me up.:p

What Kecia says. She's an instructor. I'm not seeing anything in my tech class notes about noodles. Other than if it needs help, use a noodle.
