how do you undo the snugride hood supports...??

well i bought a new cover for my sister but need to remove the hood supports to change the fabric..ive tried pulling them apart but they arnt budging...is there a trick to it...???? (twist & pull maybe??)

Slide the cover to one side, so you can see where the two sides come together. You will then be able to see where you can take a pen or something and push down and pull apart. Sure hope that helps. I can take pics if needed. I have a crashed snugride staring at me from the end of the bed.

my supports have 4 joins so i need 4 hands it seems...
ive tried with a screewdriver with my 8yr old but im afraid ill break it..and i will take to long and cost too much to get new ones sent to me here in AUS...I need this to work!!!

End, END of the bed. It just hasn't made it's way back to the car seat room.

Yes, I see there are 2 arrows. If you can just push both at once....

I waited till my hubby got home from work and he just pulled them apart..i was being to gentle.
