Okay, with the new Graco SafeSeat 1 going to 30 lbs and 32 inches, and the multiple higher weight harnessing seats going to 55, 65, and 80 lbs, I would like to start a list compiling the following:

I am mostly curious to see how many older babies could remain in the safeseat, and how many older kiddos could still fit the Radian 80's, 51" and 80 lbs limits and what ages they are.

- Rides in Britax Marathons (bottom slots) with TONS of RF growing room. He also has lots of RF growing room in the Scenera (on 2nd slots from bottom) right now. He fits well in the Triumph (bottom slots), but doesn't have as much growing room as in his other seats. He also still fits in his Graco Snugride (top slots), but is right near the limits (1.5-2 in. above head and hovering near the weight limit).

Ff'ing in a Britax Marathon using 2nd from top slots. Has about 1/2 to 1/4" before reaching them. Was rf'ing until a month ago when she hit 30lbs. Head is almost even with top of shell now as well.
(Canadian Marathon has max rf'ing limit of 30lbs.)

eta: I voted for dd since ds isn't a year old yet and he will rf as long as she did which was well past a yr & 20lbs.

Currently the Radian is the ONLY harnessed seat in Canada that has top slots tall enough for Aiden. He has outgrown all other harnessed seats by height. He is required, by law, to be in a harnessed seat until 40lbs... thank goodness for the Radian!

Mikkel would have fit in the Graco SS1 until approximately 23 months. At 22 months old he had about a 1/4 inch left in growing room (so 1.25" between his head and the top of the shell). He was 26lbs, 34" and had a 12.5" - 13" torso.
