Harmony V7 pictures

I don't think there's any pictures yet of a kid in this seat unless it's been posted outside the CDN forum and I've just forgotten. :)

I measured the top harness slot at just a smidge above 16" but it seems to fit a bit taller than that? Ds has about 1" left in the Nautilus and is using the 2nd highest harness slots on the Frontier XT.

Something else interesting happened when I tried ds in the seat - he was clearly above the slots by about an inch prior to me tightening the straps, but tightening the straps made him look just barely above them. I suspect it's just because the adjuster is so easy to tighten that it's possible to over-tighten the straps on this seat to the point of squishing the kid. So probably something to be aware of for a kid who is near moving up in the slots or near outgrowing the seat - they may have outgrown the seat already and it not be obvious if the harness is super tight.

I did find myself wondering if the booster mode might work if the fabric was different around the shoulder guide. Even so, it wouldn't give much time for kids who had outgrown the harness by height.

Anywho - I'll post the picture from my phone right away.

Picture. :)

eta: The first time buckling the harness is going to be the hardest so far as twists go. The straps *just* went long enough to buckle him in, but I didn't have the crotch buckle moved to the outer position and he would've needed it. I also found that the harness slides under the bum very easy in comparison to some other continuous loop harnesses, but the adjuster is really as smooth as discussed in the other thread.

DS is 5.5yrs old and right around the 40lb mark.

Thanks, Trudy. I never did get pics of the V7 yet.

FYI, if anyone is going to the Truro, NS conference next Friday, my V7 will be there and will stay for the training session as well so you can all get a good look at it and try installing.

Great! I'll be there. I'd love to see this seat. I'm looking for an inexpensive extra seat that will fit in my third row.

I have pics of my 4.5yr old in the V7 in booster mode(she was above the top harness slot :() but have no idea how to get them on here:confused:

The seat is nice, she finds it comfy but I don't like as a HBB...belt guide sucks imo. I'm using it in harness mode for the 22mth old I babysit(yes, I know...FF:thumbsdown:....she is an insane screamer, as in I was nearly in an accident because of the distraction so I flipped her). Guess the seat will eventually be an expensive nbb spare:rolleyes:
If Harmony would tweak the design a wee bit, it would be a great seat.
