Question Graco Nautilus latch strap

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase a Graco Nautilus latch strap? I have looked at the replacement part section on the Graco website but don't see it on the list of available items.

Long story short............ my parents have a GN installed in my mom's Jeep for DD2. Well dad went to take the seat out of the Jeep, didn't see the latch plate to loosen the strap......... couldn't loosen the latch strap to unhook so he took sissors and cut the strap!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so upset about it. :( :crying:

Anyone know what to do now? I realize that the seat can be installed with seat belt but I would like to latch it in when we start using it in booster mode.

Where can I find a latch strap?

Oh my!! I hope he gets a good talking too!! I don't know if they are replaceable or not, but go to gracobaby.com and see if you can find one. You can order replacement parts there...

She said she didn't see it there.

I'd give them a call and ask. I don't know how they handle that. My guess is yes. Or ask them what you can do about it (like, can a Snugride LATCH strap be used if you're only going to do it in booster mode).

Thanks. I guess I'm going to have to call on Monday. DD is still using the seat in harness mode. She's been hovering between 39 & 40#. I just moved her harness to the top slots so she has a while before she out grows that and moves to the booster mode. I can't believe he cut the strap. :shrug-shoulders:
