My daughter is 38-1/2" tall and weights 34 pounds. She is only 2yrs and 4 months old. Am I wrong to get her a full length booster seat with back support even though she isn't 4yrs old yet. Her current seat is rated at 40lbs max and straps are at full height.

Hi there.

Boosters are for kids who are at least five years old, and most are closer to six before they're ready. She's nowhere near ready for a new seat.

What seat do you have? We can definitely help you find a harnessed seat for her. What's your budget?
