F85 vs Lexus suv vs LATCH

I have a 40/60 split folding rear bench and super long belt stalks. LATCH makes me happy.

Two questions:
A) My car manual doesn't say anything about LATCH limit. Can anyone let me know what the child weight limit is for a 2003 Lexus RX300?

B) I reclined the seat back one click, installed the F85 with LATCH as tight as could which still allowed about 3" sliding room, then pushed the seat back upright which tightened down the install. It's tight enough now that I can't shake it with my non-dominant hand, but I can get a smidgen of wiggle room with my dominant hand. Am I at risk of overtightening using this method to tighten the install?

Thank you mucho!

Your car defers to what the carseat says, which is 40 pounds.

Are you installing in the center, or on the side? You cannot use LATCH in the center at all, but on the side reclining the seat and pulling it back up is an acceptable trick.

Dang 40lbs. Kiddo is getting close. I'll switch to seat belt install... :(

Thanks for the reminder about center LATCH!
F85 is driver side. ERF toddler is center seat belt install in a RA55 with the nifty seat belt lockoffs. I had to twist the belt stalk 3 times, but it worked. Now to rastle the F85 with a seat belt.

Thank you!
