Question Evenflo Amp big kid booster high back

Am looking to buy this for a grandparent or possibly as a backup. Is this a good booster seat? It fits my daughter well as tried in the store. I think this is a good one that appears to retain it's shape so if I hand it over to another parent, they can easily put it in their car without any problems. Thoughts?

I have one that has worked great everywhere I've used it except the 3rd row of my parents van. It's simple to use and I've never had problems with he shoulder belt not retracting.

I've been looking at one too far a backup emergency booster, seems like it would have the added bonus of being easy to buckle with the armrests being so high.

The armrests do make buckling easy, but for some smaller kids in some cars it will let the lap belt sit too high. It is a good choice for most booster age kids in most cars though, as long as you have a headrest for when the back is outgrown (about the same as a TurboBooster, 7-8 for many kids though of course sometimes earlier or later.)

In mine, with a DOM of Jan, 2012, no mention is made of overhang that I can find in my manual. I'd say call Evenflo.
