Desperately Seeking TFP in Cranberry

Anyone have a clue where I might find one before Christmas? I think I've searched high and low online, but I am hopeful that I missed something. They all seem to be backordered until mid-January.

The other half of the dilemma is that two vendors (Buy Buy Baby and Babies 1st) have told me that the cranberry version is being discontinued. I called LC, and they denied that. Amazon and Baby Catalog are taking orders to fulfill when the cranberry is available again (about 3-6 weeks). Is LC's word plus the willingness of some vendors to take backorders assurance that it will be available again in January?

learningcurve.com no longer has the Cappuccino, so I'm guessing that they've updated their site with the new covers, or at least taken down the old ones. They have:

Aurora TF (Canada, matches US Aurora Black)

I've had a Cranberry sitting in my amazon cart for weeks - I've been on the fence about getting it, but it is my favorite TF cover. Reminds me of chocolate covered strawberries. Yum. Now it is gone?

Everywhere I have searched if it is on thier site it is out of stock or discontinued. Those that do still have it say different things, everything from it will be available Jan 1st or it isnt comming back at all.

I need a TFP before mid Feb, I too am not digging the blue one.

I bet there will be tons of cranberry TFP covers available on swap once the new covers come out. I know lots of people bought cranberry but weren't too thrilled with either choice and were just hoping they could get a different cover eventually. I'm very excited about the possible new covers. :thumbsup:

See, I LOVED the cranberry. I can't believe they'd continue that bleh Blue Aurora, but not the pretty Cranberry!

I'm not feeling the love for the blue aurora either, and the cranberry, which I do like, does not really "go" with my car.... I would love to know what other colors are coming! We ended up returning our CA, and I'm hoping that new TFP covers will be available before I'm desperate!

See, I LOVED the cranberry. I can't believe they'd continue that bleh Blue Aurora, but not the pretty Cranberry!

There's also one picture on the Learning Curve website that some people suspect shows the Blue Aurora changing and becoming even more bleh. So I hope the new cover options are good.

I like the cranberry at this time of year. It's very velvety and makes me feel in the holiday spirit. Seems to be a silly time of year to discontinue it.

So I was looking on google to see if I could find any info about the new covers and it seemed to me like Baby Catalog has the cranberry cover in stock and even when I put it in my cart it didn't say anything about it being on backorder? Also, some place called e-beanstalk has the, but the price is higher.

InternationalMama - I called Baby Catalog, and they confirmed that the cranberry is on backorder for about 2-4 weeks. They let you put it in your cart and buy it without bothering to tell you this little bit of info. They will also charge your credit card for backordered items immediately to "hold your place in line." No thanks...if I don't wait for the other colors, I will buy it from Amazon. At least Amazon doesn't charge you until your item is ready to ship.

I'm working on getting images for the new covers. The 2010 First Years lineup is going to be awesome. They have tons of new stuff coming out and have definitely upped their covers. If you can hold off for the new colors, I'd recommend that!

Are any of the ones you know about in the carseatblog from... I think it was the ABC show? How about the black with white circles that we've seen here?
