DD wrote on seat with pen

YA so the title says it all! She wrote on her Radian80 with a pen. How can I get it out? She is 6 and almost out of this seat and I was wanting to sell it soon. But not with ink on it! Any ideas what I can do?

I don't know about washing instructions for the Radian but I use hair spray to get ink out of clothing and it works. Saturate the ink with hairspray then wash normally. You might have to do it a couple of times. Good luck. HTH.

Spray the ink with hairspray, then wash according to manufacturer's directions. It should come out.

i think i just used a prewash on a regent cover let it sit for a few & then laundered it.

I third the hairspray suggestion. It has always worked for me on pen stains.

Hairspray hasn't worked for me for ink. Vinegar, an old toothbrush, and patience did. Put some vinegar on the ink, sit in front of the TV, and use an old toothbrush in small circles to work it a bit. DD wrote on our dining room chairs (off-white, with black ink), and it all came out.

Rubbing alcohol works on permanent marker and should also work on regular ink, I think. I assume none of the ink is on the harness, as you can't wash that!

An enzymatic cleaner may also do the job, or check for a carpet stain remover that works for ink.

I've had good luck with just baby wipes. Maybe because some still have alcohol in them.
