    I was thinking about your situation and was wondering if you have ever applied for permanent supportive housing. Were I live it is similar to Section 8 but is tied to the unit that you live in. Instead of years getting a place it only took me about six months. I think that with your current situation you would qualify. I hope that you can find a nice place to live soon.
