Convertible to fit newborn + eco friendly fabrics

Working with an expectant parent today that wants a convertible from birth, and they also really want low-chemical, eco friendly fabrics. First choice is a Radian, but they have an early 00s Subaru Outback and we talked about how that might not be the easiest install, especially for a newborn. They haven't bought anything yet, and we're going to try my demo out today to see how it fits, but I'm not very educated about the low-chemical fabrics part and I just want to have other suggestions ready in case they're not thrilled with the Radian. Anybody?

ETA: Is the Radian even that friendly? The only info I'm really finding is that Healthy Stuff article from last year that I know was pretty widely disputed, and it's only a couple of the SKJP patterns, not necessarily the Diono stuff.

Not a convertible, but the Orbit products brag about how eco-friendly they are. Well, there is a convertible, just not usable from birth. http://www.orbitbaby.com/en/why-orbit-baby/green/

Not able to be used from birth, but the Foonf is 100% recyclable. I don't know about flame retardant chemicals in the fabric specifically, but the whole seat being recyclable may appeal to them.

Not a convertible, but Chicco allows the use of a certain organic Eco friendly cover on their KeyFit seats. I just can't recall the name... I think it starts with a B?

A KeyFit would go in like butter in their Sub, too.

From there I have no idea.

Looking for Orbit, their infant seat "G2 in Ruby" there is quite a bit of lead and bromine (classified as medium level)? And their infant seat in mocha is classified as "high level" with loads of Bromine and Lead?

Hmm, this? http://www.bokoocovers.com/Chicco-KeyFit-and-KeyFit-30-Cover.html

I've never heard of that before, that's really interesting.

The Foonf suggestion is great too, I'll definitely talk to them about that - they're super into ERF too  so they might be interested in doing a bucket for the next 6 months until Foonf is available and their baby is old enough. Plus I'd get to play with one, hooray! :)
