Question Convertible seat for Camaro

I have a 2002 Camaro convertible, with bucket seats and not much room in the backseat. We currently use a Graco Snugride without the base, but my son is close to outgrowing it. He's only seven months old, so will need to be rear-facing for a while. Are there any convertible seats that will fit this car? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Luckily, if you can fit an infant seat in you can usually fit a convertible.

At seven months old he'll need to be rear facing for several more years.

This is one time where a Britax may work well. The small base means it can fit in bucketed and narrow seats, and the fact that they're not big front to back are great. We had an old Britax Wizard rear facing in my husband's Porsche 911's backseat.

I'd also look at the Safety 1st Complete Air.

I agree with Wendy. When I saw the title of your post that's the first thing I thought of. Since the camaro has kind of a scooped out seat the base needs to be either small enough to fit inside the "scoop" or big enough to be on the outside of it on both sides. In this case I might try to BRU or another store where they will let you take seats out to your car to try out.
