DD complains when we go on a trip over 2 hours about her back hurting. She's 6 (51lbs and about 46 inches and was in an evenflo big kid. I just bought the parkway sgl and once again she says she's uncomfortable. Are there any other recs for her on a booster that might be more plush? Space isn't an issue.

Maybe a lightweight footrest would help? If their feet don't touch, it can make the lower back hurt.

We've only been in the car 3 hours and she's miserable. We have 2 more hours to go. Gotta figure out something for her feet for our return trip. The seat fits her well. She's typically a big complainer so this is nothing new to me but I would rather her be comfortable.

Seriously, try a footrest. A sleeping bag, a pack of paper towels, etc. It makes a huge difference for my girlie.

Thank you!!! I can somehow get one of those before we head home. We pulled over and I stuffed her stuffed animal bag under her feet and that's already helping.

So we are on our way home from our vacation and half way through our 6 hour drive and DD is still complaining that the parkway is very uncomfortable for her. She's restless and just can't find a comfy spot. I have a footrest for her this time. I'm not happy with how the seatbelt falls on her lap either and she hates the crotcb strap. So, back to the drawing board. The back seat of our truck isn't exactly a comfy place to sit anyway. The seatback has barely any recline. Any recs on a more comfy booster for her? She has fairly long legs.

My DD1 said the Monterey was her most comfy booster. If you have headrests (mandatory), I would look at that one. Fwiw, tho, my DD does like her PW.

Another vote for Monterey. One boy is 9 and thin the other 6 and muscular and both love the comfiness of that booster.
