Have ypu all seen/heard of the ClypX? I did a search and nothing returned. Wondering what the thoughts /experiences are with it.

It doesn’t look like it adjusts the lap belt in a safe way at all—it might adjust it in the wrong direction, or not at all.

It doesn't adjust the lap belt section because it doesn't have to! If you take a look at integrated car boosters, like those in Volvos, or many other boosters on the market that don't adjust the lap belt but leave them as-is so it works the way it's designed. This way it's positioned in the best spot - over the hips! It doesn't "adjust them in the wrong direction" either. Their instructions clearly say that it has to be attached as close to the belt anchor as possible so that it doesn't pull the lap belt up to a dangerous position over the hips. In reality, there's been so much unsafe booster use due to "lap belt adjustments" that many booster seat manufacturers have shied away from including guides or armrests altogether.

I’m also searching high and low for reviews on clypx on the web and on YouTube and there is nothing (other than the company’s poor videos). It’s frustrating because the idea is exactly what I want. My kids hate the Mifold because of discomfort- but I cannot seem to find any reviews on Clypx

We still have no information on it. I'd keep looking at valid booster products. Have you tried the BubbleBum?

I can definitely say that ClypX doesn't meet FMVSS 213- if nothing else it doesn't meet labeling and manual requirements which means it's not a legal solution for kids needing a booster or other child seat.

I agree the Bubblebum is a great alternative.
