Question Chicco Keyfit 30 in 2001 Audi A4

Hey folks,
I just got the Keyfit and followed the installation instructions. I've placed it in the center of the back seat (with only a lap belt back there). I locked the lap belt in place in their harness on the opposing side of the buckle as suggested in the manual. There is a lot of side to side play as I move the car seat - although I pushed hard and made sure the belt is locked and as tight as possible. Am I missing something obvious, or should I be putting it on the side and using the shoulder best instead? The car does not have a LATCH system.

You don't use the lockoffs with a lap belt only. You want to make sure there's less than 1" of movement at the belt path. Buckle the seat in, add weight to the seat, tighten it down as much as you can, and you're done.
