Question Car seat for forward facing 3yr old in 2002 outback?

Hello, I've tried to look through old posts but still haven't found the answer I'm looking for.
We have a 2002 outback legacy and a soon to be 3yr old. I need a new car seat for her, and have been eyeing a radian, but want to make sure it will fit forward facing and behind drivers seat. Does anyone have experience with this particular car seat or does anyone have any recommendations? THANK YOU!

Hi there.

It'll fit. Do you have another child who will be using the Radian rear facing in the future? The booster feature of the Radian is useless if you max out the harness, so if the seat is only for this child there are more cost effective seats to purchase.

Yeah, I totally agree with Wendy. If you want to re-RF the 3yo, our Radian works well RF in the middle seat of our 2000 Outback. If you want a seat that you want to FF her in now and use RF in the future for another child, that would make sense. But a combination seat would make way more sense if it's just going to be hers.
