Question Britax Tether disassembled and I can't put it back together!

We have a Britax Boulevard and I have never used the rear tether. I didn't realize you could potentially use it in vehicles that don't have Latch. When I went to install it in another car, I realized that the tether appears to be taken apart. I found the parts which I believe are from this seat. One is a short strap with a metal reciever that I understand is used to create a anchor point. The other is the "hook" (not sure of the right term) with the webbing attatched. The long piece of webbing with the adjustment "thing" is obviously still atatched to the seat. I don't know what is the proper way to attach that piece and no amount of googling is helping. I hope I'm describing this in a way that makes sense and that someone might be able to help.
Thanks very much!

Hi Kristin,

It sounds like you have the D ring and then the tether? They're supposed to come apart, if I'm understanding what you're saying properly. If the tether itself is coming apart from the seat then only Britax can fix it. But it sounds like you have the D ring just hanging attached, you'll remove that and make a tether point, then attach the tether to it.
