Britax Marathon (old) install ? for 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Ext Cab

I read some new information tonight that made me suspect I don't have my DD's MA installed correctly in our truck. We have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Ext Cab. It has LATCH in the center rear which is wear her seat is installed ff'ing. The seat is in there rock solid, however I have some concerns. The seat is really depressed for me to get it on the base on completely. The back of the base closest to the bite of the seat is just touching the seat. The top is pushed HARD into the back glass. I don't think the seat will fit outboard because of the headrests pushing it forward more and I don't think I would be able to get the base fully on theseat. Based on this info and looking at the pictures, is this install okay or do I need to look at getting a new car seat? If I need a new seat, would a Frontier 85 work in that position?

Where's the top tether? That needs to be hooked if you're going to do the lower anchors. It's required by Britax. If you can't get to the tether, use the seatbelt.

The distance from the bight is fine. Not a problem.

Did you flip the LATCH connectors so they're upright? I can't tell at all. But the arrows on the inside should be pointing up, not down.
