I bought a new Cosco Apt for BF's 08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Unfortunately, the Apt is incompatible with the shortness of the Jeep's back seat, so it's going back. We have an RA55 on the way.
When I searched Jeep Wrangler on here, I saw many mentions that it allows for center LATCH borrowing (if anybody would like to verify that with a LATCH manual, I'd appreciate it!). I know Britax allows it if the vehicle manufacturer does, up to 20" spacing. I measured the spacing in the Jeep to be 18".
Would you feel comfortable borrowing in this situation? It's just so ingrained in me not to borrow, so I need the reassurance I can certainly install with seatbelt, but I know BF loves the convenience of LATCH.
