I was thrilled my Radian65 arrived today, especially as DD puked all over her soon-to-be-replaced Triumph!!

I canNOT get it solid! I have it middle, lap belt. I've twisted the stalk 3 times, and have tried both stalks (middle and outboard) to see if that helps. It's pretty solid side to side, but tug it even slightly forward, and it's like it's on an ice floe! I sat in it while DH that benches 300lbs pulled on the belt, and it still wiggles...HELP!!!!
I so, so SO want this to work!!!!!

Is your stalk as long as my stalk in my 01 Xterra? If it is, just let it go in the belt path. Mine goes all the way in. Very easy install. Then tighten it first like you would any other seat, on the outside by the buckle, then pull the tail in to the first opening and tighten, then the second opening and tighten, then if it's long enough all the way out the other end and tighten it there, too.

Do you have locking seatbelts? If so here is a tip that works wonders! After you have got the tightest install possible, unclip the seatbelt, and let it click back a few times and wrestle the tounge back into the seat belt stalk. Keep doing this until you can get a tight install. It has worked everytime for me! HTH!:)

It's a locking latchplate lap only belt. So that's a good trick, but not for this install. :)

THANK YOU!!!

the stalk doesn't go into the belt path, but the buckle does. I pulled the slack out while kneeling in the seat and tightening through the side panel. ROCK solid, even before the tether! DH couldn't even move it side to side or front to back at ALL.

Wendy, you're a life saver!!!!
