Any CRSs as narrow as the Radian?

I'm in the market for a new convertible CRS. I currently have a Radian XT and Radian XTSL as my primary CRSs and I have a love hate relationship with them. I've looked for a Radian 80 (non SL but cant find them anywhere). I am a little concerned about the drama of the SLs. I'm not sure if any of the problems with the SL are still an issue with the Dinio...anyone know? I don't want to have to wonder if my LOs are as safe a I can possibly make them.

Things I'm looking for in a CRS:
- 45lb RFing limit
- narrow
- low profile

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

If you have until summer, and $500, a Clek Foonf should meet your needs. But it sits up a bit high.

If the SL is an issue, I'd just use the seatbelt to install the seat.

I thought it was the latch straps loosening....not the harness!! I don't think I've ever seen anyone post about the harness loosening.

I hadn't heard of that either.

What your looking for sounds like a Radian or Foonf. :)

The non-SL Radians were last made in 2009, so I'm not surprised you can't find any.

There were a few reports of the harness adjuster getting stuck open on the Radian. It worked fine if you manually pushed the adjuster lever closed. Nothing ever really seemed to come of it. No recalls, and I haven't heard any new reports of the problem in quite some time.

I looked at the Foonf after Wendy suggested it & but I'm fairly certain that DH would kill me if I dropped $500 on a new CS. Hmm...I think I need to do some selling.
