Airplane travel - Apt, My Ride, or Scenera?

I'm trying to decide what seat to take on the plane with me next month when traveling with my 1 year old son (he'll be RFing). We have a My Ride, but I thought that would be too wide, so I was looking into getting an Apt as a travel seat. However, when I looked at the document with car seat dimensions, it looks like the Apt is 2 inches wider than the My Ride. If that's the case, then maybe I should just stick with the My Ride? I thought about a Scenera, but I'd prefer something that would be a little easier to install and not have to worry about pool noodles, towels, etc. However, I'm still tempted because of its narrow width. What would you suggest? Thanks!

I would go with the scenera. Never used a MR65 but the scenera is light weight so it's easier to carry and the scenera took up a bit of room on those small air plane seats

I took our MyRide on our flight last summer and width was not an issue at all. I sat next to it and had plenty of room. I did have some trouble getting it unbuckled though. Something with how the latch plate opened in the belt path. I totally scrapes up my hand.

*eta. That's actually DD in it on the plane in my profile picture.

I would get an apt, scenera or tribute just to have something lighter, but if you don't want to your myride should work just fine, width is not an issue. I really like my scenera for travel because it is so light, and I would just bungee it to the stroller. I have a noodle pyramid that fits in my carry on for installing in the car, it is not needed on the airplane.
