Question 98 Ford Contour - titling car seats

I have had a cps install the safety 1st grow n grow 3in1 and every time the seat belly is tightened it tilts... it's in tight and the seat belt is locked and it's still moving. We put a towel under the front and that seemed to help at the time of installation but it's moving. Same with the base to the safety 1st on board 35. ... it's very frustrating n both were installed in another car just fine. My car doesn't have a latch system. But I'm going crazy feeling like my kids aren't safe in their seats. Please help,!!

Hi there.

You cannot use a towel toward the front of the carseat (toward the front of the car). That's remarkably unsafe.

Your locked belts are tipping the seats. Using a locking clip will fix that. You may need to call Dorel for one for the Grow and Go.
