2013 Dodge Journey - Britax Fit?

I have a 2013 Dodge Journey. I am looking to get the Britax Click Tight Boulevard when it comes out this month. My LO is 5 months, 27" and 16 lbs. She is a LONG girl!! She will be in the second row with big sister who is 7 y/o in a FF booster. I am wondering if anyone was able to get the Britax in the middle without having your front driver/passenger seats all the way forward? How was the fit? Am I looking at an out-board position only for this size seat? Thanks in advance!!

The new Britaxes are VERY compact. You can use any of the seven recline positions as long as the recline indicator is in the blue. So it should fit.

Hi There

The middle is pretty darn tiny in the journeys & while the Britax fits in the centre fine , you likely wouldn't be able to buckle your booster rider & they would need an awfully tiny booster like the harmony literider to fit beside it.

I can't flip my 2nd row seats forward with a middle car seat installed , even my Britax. The base is small & fits great on the small middle seat but the shell is too wide & interferes with being able to flip the seat.

You would have no issues installing outboard though - the journey is pretty easy for most car seats outboard & with plenty of room for a front passenger
