Hi! I'm new here and I'm hoping I'm not asking a silly or already answered question. I tried searching. :)

I have 7 month old twins and I am about to switch them to their convertible seats. I have already purchased 2 Britax Pavilions. I currently drive a Tucson, but am going to upgrade likely to a 2012 Honda Odyssey. Will I be able to fit them next to each other RF behind the passenger seat and in the plus-one seat on the second row? I need to leave an end seat in the second row empty for access to the back, or for an adult to sit in (my mom lives with us). I also hope to use the latch system instead of tethering.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you! :)

In the new Odyssey you should be able to just fine. The middle isn't a plus one per se, just another seat. Especially if you put the seats into wide mode (the car's seats) you should be fine.

You can use the lower anchors and the tether. Your other option is the seatbelt and tether. But either way you can use the tether rear facing with Britax seats.

I have 2 RFing recaro prorides and a ffing prosport in my 2012. It wasn't hard, but we did have to uninstall the storage compartment between the 2 front seats to get in a good position to tighten the middle one. Maybe that wouldn't be a problem since you can reach from where you took out the seat? I have the ffing kid in the middle, and it's pretty easy to get to her to buckle, via that center console area. The ProSport is a bit over the edge of the eighth seat, but less than an inch on either side.
