Question 2003 2 door honda civic

Looking for recs for a friend.

She needs a seat for her nephew who is 20 months. She will be driving him on a semi-regular basis.

She has a 2 door civic year 2003.

He is rear facing in their parents van currently (she said it's sunshine kids so I think in a Radian) but apparently the seat is at a big angle (as installed by st john's ambulance) and barely fits in the van. So my friend is worried about fitting a rear facing seat in her tiny car.

Apparently they have a forward facing seat for him for their truck and for the ILs (so I'm happy my friend is still thinking of rear facing him in her car! :D)

Anyone have any experience with her car?

Thanks!

No experience with the 2door, but have tried some installs in the sedan (2001). It's not as roomy as the newer Civics.

Questions: how tall/heavy is the child? Budget?

The seat which fit best for us was the Scenera, but unless he is smaller or has a short torso, it may be too close for height. I was also trying to maximize front seat leg room, so if she doesn't need a ton of room up front on one side, she can go bigger.

I laughed when I tried plunking the RF Radian in there and gave up trying - not to say it isn't possible, but it looked HUGE and I had other options.

Seats to try depending on child's size, and I am assuming that there is no need for a narrow seat: True Fit, MyRide, Complete Air, Britax convertibles.

I'm out of the loop on Evenflo Triumph Advance and Momentum - what are the RF limits for these? Is the new 65lb EFTA still 30ls RF?
