$1,000 carseat?

I have two expensive buggies, they are awesome, I love them both. Yes I have had cheaper ones & I find them hard to use.

The seat that dd is in now cost $800 ($400 for the capsule & $400 for the base) but you know what it is super easy to use. Ds Swedish seat cost $1100 to get here & yes it was better than anything else on the market at the time but seats are expensive here. The radian is $550, the scenera is $200, a turbo booster is also $200, so $1100 for a Swedish seat didn't seem so bad.

We have a Multi Tech that was pretty pricey, but it was a last resort (my just turned 2 year old was 36lbs and had outgrown all the US seats by height RFing). I love the seat though and am very happy with my purchase.

I know someone who has the Bloom Highchair and the Stokke Stroller, and I know it is all about $$ and status for her and her DH. I know they would definitely spend $1000 on a carseat because expensive = better in their mind.

Would never spend 1000 on a stroller. The cheapest combo I would d0 providing my kids were small enough would he
Truefit (199 ish... The scenera is 80 sometimes and for the extra 100 it's worth it then Nauti and I would hope to use the Nauti to lbb stage

This is us, exactly. I like seeing people with expensive strollers because it justifies my MT. My jogging stroller was bought on clearance after all other options were exhausted, for the same reason that we got the MT-- kid too tall for the craigslist jogging stroller and mommy and doggie needed to run.
