Britax cup holder recommendations please?

(I think/hope this is in the right section- if not, I'm sorry and feel free to relocate)

Needed for Olivia's FF BLVD 65... (not new gen- it has an 08/09 DOM)

I can't find details anywhere and was wondering if the Britax single cup holder will fit her seat or does it only fit new gen seats?

Also open to any other ideas that are considered safe to use.

Thanks.

The Amazon product page has a whole bunch of reviews from pissed-off people complaining about how it doesn't fit the older, classic models, only the next gen. HTH. Dunno about other options, though. :(

Ahhhh, that's what I was worried about. I know it was released since the new gen seats so I figured it may not work with an older style one :( all the pictures on Google show it with the new style seats.

Olivia keeps dropping her cup and tries to hold it between her legs the whole time so we need to find the poor kid something.

Well if anyone has found one that works, please let me know!

Yeah, sorry the new gen seats have a special slot underneath the cover on the side that the cupholder snaps into, I have one on my MA70.

This is the main reason we switched seats after my son turned FF. He could hold a cup fine between his legs while RFing but needed the cupholders on the maestro after he was FFing to hold his drink

We use "No Throw" velcro straps (I think I paid $4 for a 2-pack). Strap one around the cup and attach the other end around the carseat straps. I attached on our umbrella stroller and have also used it to keep my DD from throwing her "taggie blankie" where NO ONE can reach it when going down the road. Just run the velcro strip through one of the "taggie" loops and if it fell off her lap she could "reel" it back up, same with a cup.

Found mine at Walgreens, but our local Kroger also had them.

Does she sit next to the window? I used to use the chapy plastic cupholders that fit in the window, though I haven't wanted to use them on the new car because the window seals are so snug and nice and I don't want to mess with that. They also tended to fall out if you rolled the window up when something was in them (found that out with my own and a cup of hot coffee, ouch!) so that was a pain. I am liking the sound of the SideRider, myself. I am considering selling my MR and stealing back my cowmoo MA for my car now that DS2 is FF, so I have been pondering this very question as well. DS2 won't like going from 2 cupholders to none!!

I was just googling cup holder pictures ISO something new and cool and there is an alarming number of tray-table type gadgets that attach to the front seat backs. NOT something I would put in my car, bad enough to smash your face against the cushioned seatbacks without adding a bunch of hard plastic and pointy cups and stuff. Just sayin'.
